Rotary - Rotaract Delhi NCR. Dedicated members in service of the needy: Organising blood donation, free polio vaccination, free eye care camps
This thing looks to kick some butt, with not only video, photo and music playback, but a WiFi (wireless network) connection, instant messaging, a keyboard, web browser, and it also works as a wireless Skype phone.

It's called "parkour", but it's really people with more guts than brains performing gymnastic-like moves, using the urban landscape as props. I wish I could do it. Probably best that I can't.

How many of the computers in the link below did you own or use? I had 3 of them , the Sinclair ZX-81, the Vic-20, and the Commodore-64. Too bad the list didn't go to the end of the 80s, or I could have added my Amiga 1000.

Air Rage BladeRunner II Indoor RC Helicopter Review

The Air Rage BladeRunner is an indoor radio-controlled helicopter which is remarkably easy to fly. If you picture yourself zooming around the room chasing the cats though, you're going to be disappointed, as this is no speed-demon.

A digital camera blocker - How dangerous is this?
Posted: 6/26/2006 11:37:17 AM
: comments
Imagine this: a protest is getting slightly rowdy. The cops move in, a little over-enthusiastically. Fights ensue. People are shot. People are beaten. It's happened before. You got the whole thing on camera. Or did you? When you get home, your digital video is completely washed out, no picture at all. The evidence is gone, burned by a portable device the cops brought with them.

While my preferred method involves an actual knife-sharpening device, here's a page with a great tutorial on how to do it with a sharpening stone, a sidewalk, a piece of glass, some sandpaper and your leg.

Bluetooth Headphones and Audio Adapters from Ever-e
Posted: 6/12/2006 4:35:23 PM
: comments
There are many reasons why Bluetooth is a good choice as a medium for wireless stereo headphones. The Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) of which Bluetooth wireless headphones use, delivers surprisingly good audio quality. The roaming range of Bluetooth headphones from a transmitter is good (up to ~20 ft). Perhaps most importantly, because Bluetooth technology has already achieved global acceptance, compatibility between varying adapters and headphones is fairly high. The latter reason is particularly important because it allows the possibility of portable media player manufacturers to incorporate Bluetooth into their devices; therefore, they can connect to any Bluetooth headphones sans an additional external adapter. Such devices are already in the market. Almost all of the latest cell phones that support Bluetooth as well as media playback (smartphone or not), can be paired with Bluetooth headphones for high fidelity wire-free music enjoyment.
